Registering
To purchase products from the shop you need to register your details. Once you have completed the form an email will be sent to you containing a link to a confirmation page. Follow this link to activate your account. The shop will now remember your details so you don't have to enter them again.
Now you are registered you can purchase products from the shop and enter the Members Area where you can keep track of any promotions you have earned.
Shopping
You can browse through the different sections of the shop; coffee, tea, hardware, gifts, food and offers. Each shop section is broken down into separate areas to allow you to easily find the product you require.
The coffee section also has the 'Taste Selector' where you can easily specify your taste preferences for roast, strength, body and/or acidity. The taste selector will then provide a list of coffees to suit your tastes.
Once you have found the product you want click on the name or image to view detailed information about it. To buy a product enter the quantity you require and click the 'add to basket' button. For the coffees you will also have to select a grind type from the drop down list.
Shopping Basket
Your shopping basket lists all the products you have selected to purchase. You can change the quantity of a product by entering a new value in the box provided or remove a product by ticking the box next to the product and clicking the 'Update Basket' link. You can also clear all the products from your basket by clicking on the 'Clear your basket' link. You can store your basket to use later by clicking on the 'Store basket for later' link. This will tell the shop to remember the products you have selected, you can access the stored orders through the 'Stored orders' button on the left hand side of the shop.
Once you have all the products you wish to purchase click on the 'Select shipping' button to select the shipping you wish to use. Select the shipping type and price from the drop down list and then click on the 'checkout' button to continue with the order. If you have not logged into the shop yet you will be asked to login at this stage.
Checkout
The checkout allows you to confirm that the delivery address is correct and to add any note you wish delivered with the order.
You must tick the box to confirm that you have read and understood our terms and conditions before you can proceed.
At this stage you can also enter any promotional code that you have. After entering the code click the 'apply discount' button before proceeding.
Once you have completed this form click on the 'Continue' button you will now be told that you are going to be transferred to Worldpay's secure servers to complete your payment details.
Worldpay Secure Transaction
Worldpay provides a secure environment for you to safely enter your credit card details. You can choose the currency you wish to pay in from the drop down list then click on the type of card you wish to use.
Now enter your Card details and click 'Make Payment'. The Worldpay system will now verify your card details and then return you to The Bean Shop.
You will receive email confirmation from Worldpay of the amount charged to your card and an email from us confirming the ordered products and delivery details.
Promotions
Each time you purchase a bag of coffee the shop will remember this. After you have purchased 10 bags of coffee you will receive a promotional code for a free coffee. You can check if you have a promotional code and how many bags you need to by to get one in the Members Area of the website. To use your promotional code enter it in the box provided at the checkout stage.
Previous orders
Once you have logged into the shop you can view all your previous orders by clicking on the 'Previous orders' button on the left hand side of the shop. A list of the orders made is displayed with the date they were made and the amount they cost. Click on the arrow next to an order to see the full details of the order.
Stored orders
Once you have logged into the shop you can view all your stored orders by clicking on the 'Stored orders' button on the left hand side of the shop. A list of the orders stored are displayed with the date they were saved and the amount they cost. Click on the arrow next to an order to see the full details of the order.
You can click on 'Add order to basket' to return the stored order to your basket to purchase or you can click on 'Delete order' if you no longer need it stored.
Your details
You can change any of your details that you entered on registering by clicking on the 'Your details' button on the left hand side of the shop. Complete the form with any changes you require then click the 'Save' button.
