The Bean Shop is an independent coffee roaster and speciality tea shop. We roast coffee on our premises in George Street, Perth. Our aim is to provide the freshest and best coffee available. We are careful to source distinctive coffees including an excellent range of organic and premium coffees.
In addition to our freshly roasted coffee and speciality teas we sell all the necessary equipment to prepare them to perfection.

The Bean Shop has been established for 6 years. Although the business is relatively new, our pedigree as roasters dates back for 10 years. We decided to establish our new business in Perth city centre and to tempt the local population with the delights of freshly roasted coffee. We opened our shop in April 2003 and launched our web site in October 2003. The business has flourished, both in the shop and on the website. We have a growing customer base in and around Perth. Our internet customers are mainly from the UK but we regularly ship our coffee to other parts of Europe. We are able to supply coffee in bulk for cafes and restaurants.

The business is owned by John and Lorna Bruce. John was born in Darjeeling on a tea plantation has been a tea and coffee lover from a very early age. Lorna became involved in the speciality coffee industry while studying for a MA in Art and Design.
